The primary focus of the company is to move the costly and time consuming diagnostic tests away from the central laboratories over to the individual veterinary clinic, allowing the veterinary surgeon to provide a rapid (3-5 min.) and efficient diagnosis – this segment is called “rapid diagnostics”.

Within rapid diagnostics SMB has already obtained all required approvals relating to human diagnostics (tests performed on people). This known and documented technology has been developed and adapted for the testing of animals (veterinary diagnostics). Investment carried out in 2007.
