The biotech company Fluxome Science Ltd. develops new biotechnological methods for the production of bio fuel (ethanol), chemicals, pharmaceutical products and additives for the food industry. Based on genetic modification Fluxome Science develops baking yeast for the production of e.g. omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids. The method is more cost efficient and environmentally acceptable than any existing methods.

The company has also developed a yeast strain that increases the yield from bio ethanol in the production process.  This area is also known as white bio technology. Within the following 5-10 years white bio technology is expected to replace a wide range of the traditional production processes. Investment carried out in 2005.
