Vecata invests in a number of different business areas. We have the following priorities when investing in a new company:

• A unique, visionary and patentable product
• A defined market requirement
• A clear exit strategy

Vecata mainly invests through syndicates with other venture funds or individuals and only takes on the part of lead investor if the Vecata team holds the specific knowledge required.

Vecata is always represented in the board of the portfolio company and we provide active support on an operational level within the following areas:

• Strategy
• Financing
• Recruitment
• Exit and sales process 

Vecata receives between 75-100 investment enquiries a year. The investment process normally lasts from 1-5 months.
